Herrin- Glen Gilbert Leeper, age 77, of Herrin, passed away at 9:27am on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at his home in Herrin.
Glen was born in East Moline on September 27, 1938, the son of Carl Oliver Anthony and Eula Lucille (Jeralds) Leeper. He married Judith Berry on June 18, 1960 at Hurricane Memorial Baptist Church in Herrin. She preceded him in death on August 22, 2011.
Mr. Leeper had worked as a diesel mechanic, retiring from May Excavating.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Judy Leeper, son- Dennis Leeper and grandson- Travis Leeper.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the funeral home.
