Herrin- Denise Gail Dotson, 50, of Herrin, passed away at 8:18 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Herrin Hospital.

Denise was born on August 17, 1965 in Murphysboro to Raymond and Myreldean (Davitz) Clover. She married Kenneth David Dotson on June 1. 1990 in Murphysboro. He survives of Herrin.

She loved her family and enjoyed staying home and caring for them. She will be dearly missed.

Son- Caleb Dotson of Herrin
Son- David Dotson of Herrin
Great Grandchildren- Grayson and Gavin Dotson of Marion
Sister- Darlene Clover of Murphysboro
Sister- Diane Inman and husband Steve of Cobden
Sister- Debbie Clover
Brother- Brad Clover and wife Beth of Murphysboro
Brother- Raymond Clover of Murphysboro
Several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Herrin City Cemetery. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the graveside. Funeral arrangements were made at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
