Bob will be missed, I liked playing cards with Bob. We always had good times at bingo. He is at home now and at peace. God bless you Bob and your family.

What a tremendous loss to this family and this world. The man I knew as grandpa Bob had such a big heart and an infecruous laugh that he will be so sorely missed. This man would give you the shirt off of his back if he knew you needed it. I only wish that I could have been stationed closer to him throughout my military career because I feel that we missed so much of each other’s lives that it breaks my heart. I miss you grandpa but you will be forever in our hearts. I spent many nights with him at the bingo hall and one of my fondest memories was when I took him to “the boat” in Metropolis to have a little fun. He had such a great time that I literally had to pull him out of there by the arm. I will never forget that sparkle in his eye that day nor will I ever forget all the help he gave me as a troubled teen and what he did for my family over the past 3+ decades.
