David M. Rady, 83, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2:33 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

David was born August 30, 1931 in Marion the son of Clarence and Grace (Zachery) Rady. He married Emma Lou Shadowens on December 24, 1952 in Scottsboro and together they shared over 49 years of marriage until her death on January 31, 2002.

David was an Army veteran and a member of the UMW of A.

Survivors include his;
Five sons;
Michael L. Rady and wife Terry of Herrin
Robert D. Rady and wife Vicki M. of Spillertown
Danny Rady and wife Debbie of West Frankfort
David C. Rady and fiance’ Amber Hileman of Marion
Mark Rady and significant other Melanie Starnes of Marion
Daughter – Montica Parris and husband David of Marion
Ten Grandchildren
21 Great Grandchildren
2 Great Great Grandchildren
Sister – Betty Blades and husband Everett of Johnston City

Preceded by his Parents, wife – Emma Lou, two brothers – Buckey and Joe Rady

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
