Johnston City- Braysen Michael Vaughn, 3 months, went to be with the heavenly angels at 1:02 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Herrin Hospital.

Braysen Michael was born on July 21, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale to Brandon Vaughn and Courtney Marshall. He was a loving baby with a sweet disposition and smile. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Paternal great grandparents- Danny and Dana Vaughn of Herrin

Paternal great great grandparent- Maxine Montgomery of Herrin

Paternal great great grandparent- Esther Vaughn of Rushville, IL

He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfathers- Carl Nyquist and Larry Flynn.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 4, 2013 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Robbey Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 PM, Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.

    Courtney, Brandon, & Aiden, Our hearts are deeply saddened for all of you, we know this is a difficult time and no words can ever express how we all feel. I do know that God is taking care of Braysen and He will take care of you as well.. Have Faith and Believe in God. So sorry that you are hurting.
