Angela Wright, 28 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 6:37 p.m. at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

Angela was born October 28, 1984 in Carbondale the daughter of Eddie Wright and Rebecca Stone.

She attended Freedom Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include;Father – Eddie Wright and wife Sharon of the Lake of Egypt Mother – Rebecca Stone and husband Don of Marion, Brothers and Sisters; Mark Wright of Carbondale, Clinton Stone of Marion, Chris Stone of Peoria, Nikki Stone of Marion, Kevin Tite of Stonefort, Lisa McKennis of Raleigh, Shawna Qwaltney of Dongola, Maternal Grandparents – Don and Rita Bradshaw of Grantsburg.

Preceded by her Paternal Grandparents – Bill and Sue Wright

Funeral services will be Friday, September 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. David Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

    I am so sorry about Angela and I wish I would have been there more since High School! I loved her and her family dearly. I would have done anything for her and even beat up a girl at school when she was in the hospital. I would have defended her with my life. I wish I could be there to say my goodbyes but I am in Texas and have no way to get there. I love you all and hope you remember her strength to get through this painful time. I will always remember her as the best friend a person could have and loved her like a sister.
