Helen Mae Felts
Marion – Helen Mae Felts, 87, passed away on Monday, October 05, 2009 at 8:40 A.M. at her home.
Helen was born February 27, 1922 in Marion the daughter of Wiley Ted & Flossie (Hastings) Boles. She married John Paul Felts on September 12, 1946 and together they shared over 28 years of marriage until his death on June 7, 1975.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Marion and she worked for 10 years at Giles Electric and for 24 years at Marion 100.
She is survived by her;
Daughter – Paula Felts of Marion
Daughter – Susan Carter and husband James of Marion
Granddaughter – Andrea Renee Carter of West Frankfort
Beloved dog – Troubles
Preceded by her Parents, Husband, Infant Brother – Teddy Boles, Jr.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Scott Kallem officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
